В Україні підготовлено проект Закону про Стратегію сталого розвитку
України до 2030 року, який уже пройшов обговорення в міністерствах, на
регіональних і національних консультаціях, проте ані Стратегію, ані Національний план дій з її реалізації поки що не прийнято.
The purpose of the article is to illustrate the complex changes in the biosphere, which occurred in the process of using its
resources and the formation of a new ideological paradigm of human development in the 21st century. Negative consequences
that occurred in the process of interaction between the Society and Nature have led to a significant reduction in
living species, a decrease in the volume and quality of mineral resources, the loss of natural properties of land resources,
air pollution and a general deterioration of the natural environmental, which is a human habitat.
World community has realized that humans’ living conditions are deteriorating and held several UN conferences on
the state of the environment with the participation of world leaders. The key Conference was the Earth Summit (1992,
Rio de Janeiro), which identified the Development Agenda for the 21st Century. Its quintessence was the proclamation
of a new Concept of Human Development - a paradigm of sustainable (balanced) development.
Its essence is that the current generation of people should not destroy the resources for the existence and development
of their descendants.
The article presents the result of Society’s awareness of the danger to the existence of all living things on the planet
Earth and the actions of the Society at the global and regional levels, which manifested itself in the definition of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and the development of appropriate strategies for the development of individual
states of the world.
The article outlines the essence of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Ukraine till 2030. The purpose of the
Strategy is to stop the degradation of natural ecosystems by introducing a new model of economic growth, based on the
principles of sustainable development, ensuring a high level and quality of life of the population, creating favorable conditions
for the life and activity of present and future generations. The achievement of this goal is in line with the ideological
values and cultural traditions of the Ukrainian people and with the international commitments of Ukraine.
The Strategy identifies 17 sustainable development goals. Of them, 7 goals are crucial for successful development
of the state and are the top priority to be achieved. The draft Strategy was discussed in the Ministries of Ukraine, at
regional and national consultations. The Strategy and the National Action Plan for its implementation have been submitted
to the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. However, in the state there is still no concept, strategy and action
plan for spatial development.
