The chosen region was an integral part of the Illyrian
world, but on the threshold of the Thracian at the end
of later prehistory. As for the subsequent period of Roman
domination, one of the most important tasks for
the future exploration is at least partial enlightening
the structure of the population the Romans found in
this area at the turn of the Christ Era. Either the new era or the Christian era.
Головною метою дослідження є визначення етнічних компонентів та їх значення у створенні археологічної картини Південно-Західної Сербії та Північної
Чорногорії в передримському та ранньому римському
періоді. Обраний регіон був невід'ємною частиною іллірійського світу, але наприкінці пізнього передримського періоду знаходився на порозі фракійського
світу. Що ж до наступного періоду римського панування, то однією з найважливіших завдань майбутнього дослідження є принаймні часткове висвітлення структури населення, з яким римляни зітнулися на цій території на рубежі нової ери.
