У статті методом історико-наукового аналізу висвітлено найважливіші краєзнавчі студії
 в діяльності ННСГБ НААН та її Інституту історії аграрної науки, освіти та техніки. В статье методом историко-научного анализа отражены важнейшие краеведческие студии в деятельности ННСГБ НААН и ее Институту истории аграрной науки, образования и
 техники. The most important local history studies in the National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National
 Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and its Institute of History of Agricultural Science,
 Education and Technology is observed by historical and scientific analysis in the article.
 The historical explorations concerning the formation, development and functioning of the main
 national library from agriculture and forestry, branch leading depositary, complex scientific, library
 and bibliographic center of network of agricultural libraries in Ukraine have shown that its history
 is closely connected with changes in the state policy on the functioning of agricultural science, education, engineering, agriculture, and library science. However, the main focus of the library was and
 remains library and bibliographic information service of scientific research institutions, scientists and
 specialists of agriculture and related sciences to it at different times of its life.
 It was found that the institution was evolving complex way in the development and activity. The
 main directions of operation are recognized the basic functions, objectives, global trends and directed
 to the accumulation, preservation of library collections, inheritance of the past, the scientific information
 and documentary support of agricultural science and production.
 In the establishment from 2001 postgraduate studies, doctoral on the specialty the history of science
 and technology are opened, refresher courses of librarians from scientific agricultural library and
 scientific conferences of young scientists and specialists are annually held, the Institute of History of
 Agricultural Science, Education and techniques is operates, the forerunner of which was from 2001
 the Center of History of Agricultural Sciences.
 Over 15 years of its existence the representation of accumulated results of diverse investigations
 in the field of history of agricultural research affairs of Ukraine within the Institute is unfolded, performed
 after thirteen bibliographic series, initiated by establishment from the 1998: “Academicians
 of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine”; “Corresponding Members of the National
 Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine”; “Foreign Member of the National Academy of Agrarian
 Sciences of Ukraine”; “Land Management Science”; “Bibliography of Scientists-Agrarians of Ukraine”;
 “Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine in the People, Documents, Bibliography”; “Famous Scientists-Naturalists and Educators of Ukraine”; “Academicians and Corresponding Members of NAS of Ukraine for Agriculture”; “Foreign Agricultural Book in the Collections of in the National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and of Scientific Research
 Establishments and Higher Educational Institutions of Agricultural Profile”; “Scientific Historical
 and Bibliographic Reading”; “Information and Bibliographic Resources of the Agricultural
 Production of Ukraine”; “Bibliography of Science, Education, Culture of Ukraine”; “Scientific and
 Auxiliary Retrospective Bibliographic, Bibliography indexes”. A successful and innovative perspective became wide representation of foreign editions in 35 languages from 59 countries, which keeps our library. Consistently the implementation of the program
 to perpetuate the prominent figures of scientists and institutions, that in word and deed glorified Ukraine
 in global dimension, is supported by conducting scientific meetings: conferences, scientific readings,
 round tables, representation in the mass media and opening memorial inscribed plaques, signs, etc. on their honor.
