У статті проаналізовано основні аспекти фортифікаційного будівництва Вінниччини. Наголошується на необхідності вивчення та раціонального використання історичної спадщини регіону. На прикладі трьох замків з різним ступенем збереженості виявлено характерні риси архітектури споруд, причини створення об'єктів оборонного призначення та їх використання в різні часи. Визначено сучасний стан пам'яток, перспективи їх збереження та відновлення. The article analyzes the main aspects of the fortification constructions in Vinnytsia region. It is emphasized
 on the need to study and rational use the historical heritage of the region. It were revealed the characteristic
 features of the architecture of buildings, the reasons for the creation of objects of defense purposes and their
 using atdifferent times of the land on the example of three castles with varying degrees of preservation. The
 current state of the monuments and the prospects of their preservation and restoration were determined.
