The main stages of Matthew’s route can be restored from Yalta through mountain ridge Yajia to the bay of Akhtiar-Sevemaya, then to Mangup-Theodora and then on the territory of the dty. The author mentioned the ascending road, the main cHy gates and the church over them, water sources, the garden in Taban-Dere canyon in the central part of the plateau, the dtadel on the cape of Teshkii-Burun, cave constructions. “Weeping” provides researchers with the information on the situation in Taurica during the last five year of the 14th century.
