Мета статті полягає у тому, щоб проаналізувати ступінь вивчення історії
 масонства у радянських історіографічних студіях ХХ ст., виділити основні етапи дослідження проблеми російського масонства конклавом корифеїв радянської
 історичної думки. Методи дослідження добиралися відповідно до мети та базуються на принципі історизму. Були застосовані методи історіографічного аналізу
 та синтезу, проблемно-хронологічний, ретроспективний та порівняльний методи.
 Наукова новизна дослідження полягає в тому, що це перша комплексна розвідка,
 яка присвячена дослідженню масонства Російської імперії як однієї із актуальних
 проблем радянських історіографічних досліджень ХХ ст. Висновки. Автор зробив
 спробу розглянути основні етапи вивчення російського масонства конклавом провідних діячів радянської історичної думки. Зроблені комплексні висновки про характер і рівень дослідження проблеми масонства Російської імперії російськомовними
 вченими періоду СРСР. Подано огляд існуючих схем наукового аналізу інтелектуального часу представленого періоду. У рамках цього було розглянуто процес академічної інституалізації та концептуальні і методологічні аспекти дослідження
 російського масонства в радянській історіографії. За допомогою основних принципів наратології і концептології був проведений аналіз радянської історіографії щодо проблеми російського масонства і її ідеологічного змісту. Автор виділив два
 періоди вивчення історії масонства в радянській історіографії, які відрізняються своєю проблематикою і концептуальною основою. На основі заданої методологічної бази аналізуються дискурсивні стратегії радянської історичної думки. The purpose of the article is devoted to the study of Freemasonry problem of the
 Russian Empire as one of the topical problems of the Soviet historiographic studies from
 the 20th centuries. The author makes an attempt to review the main stages in the study
 of Russian Freemasonry by the conclave of the leading figures of the Soviet historical
 thought. Conclusions are drawn about the nature and level of research of Freemasonry
 problem of the Russian Empire by Russian speaking scientists of the period USSR. The
 research methods were chosen according to the purpose and were based on the principle
 of historicism. Conclusions. The article is devoted to the study of Freemasonry problem
 of the Russian Empire as one of the topical problems of the Soviet historiographic studies
 from the 20th centuries. The author makes an attempt to review the main stages in the
 study of Russian Freemasonry by the conclave of the leading figures of the Soviet historical
 thought. Conclusions are drawn about the nature and level of research of Freemasonry
 problem of the Russian Empire by Russian speaking scientists of the period USSR.
 The author makes a present to review the existing schemas of scientific analysis of this
 intellectual heritage. For this purpose the process of the academic institutionalization,
 the conceptual and methodological aspects of the Soviet historiography of the Russian
 Freemasonry are considered. On the basic principle of narratology and conceptology the
 analysis of the Soviet historiography of the single episodes of the Russian Freemasonry
 problem and its ideological dimension is conducted. The author distinguishes two periods
 of the study of the history of the Freemasonry in Soviet historiography, which are distinguished
 by their problems and conceptual basis. The narrative strategies are analyzed as
 the formal components of these drifts.
