In the article the results of research of archaezoological materials are expounded from excavations of settlement of Kartal Reni district of the Odessa area (culture of Chernavoda I). The conducted analyses allow to describe the morphological features of separate animals, and also to reconstruct the value of stock-raising and hunt in the economy of Kartala in the epoch of late eneolithic. Findings fix a cattle agricultural-breeding economy. Basis of stock-raising was breeding of sheep, breeding of pigs did not play a large role. Horse on the aggregate of certain signs, rather behaves to the wild form. Hunt yields to the stock-raising, but it, as well as fishing, had character of trade, providing the far of food.
