У статті розглянуто форми метафоризації, зображувально- виражальні засоби, завдяки яким письменники передають читачам своє хвилювання, біль душі, побачене і пережите в минулому часі. Доведено, що мемуаристи української еміграції глибоко переймалися проблемами часу, про що свідчить мова творів, у яких постають не лише належним чином виписані постаті персонажів, а й розважлива, узагальнена, аналітична думка, обрамлена художніми засобами. Означена думка характеризує й оцінює екологічні, соціальні явища, втілені в образне слово. З’ясовано, що метафора представлена і як лінгвістичний феномен, що є провідним засобом в щоденниковій прозі моделювання суто художньої картини дійсності. Вона витворюється на ґрунті мовноестетичного освоєння екстралінгвального світу і реалізується в текстовій структурі, декодування якої відбувається завдяки буттєвому (онтологічному), текстовому й позатекстовому досвіду читача (інтерпретатора). Означений досвід розширюється, коригується й прочитується реципієнтом в контексті інших компонентів художньої структури. The article deals with the forms of metaphorization, figurative-expressive means, through which the writers transmit to the readers their anxiety, the pain of the soul, seen and experienced in the past time. It is proved that the memoirists of Ukrainian emigration were deeply concerned with the problems of time, as evidenced by the language of their works, in which there were not only properly written figures of characters, but also sensible, generalized, analytical thought, framed by the artistic means.The stated opinion characterizes and assesses the environmental, social phenomena embodied in the figurative word. It is found out that the metaphor is presented as a linguistic phenomenon, which is the leading means in the diary prose of modelling the purely artistic picture of reality. It develops on the basis of the language-aesthetic mastering of the extralingual world and is realized in the textual structure, decoding of which occurs through the existential (ontological), textual and non-textual experience of the reader (interpreter).This experience is expanded, corrected and read by the recipient in the context of other components of the artistic structure.
