Метою статті є дослідження особливостей функціонування архетипу дому в художньому світі Григорія Чубая. Вибір методології дослідження зумовлений інтертекстуальністю творів Григорія Чубая, їхньою закоріненістю в національну культуру і зв’язками із зарубіжною літературою, а також виразним
 міфологізмом. У процесі наукового пошуку використано низку методів літературознавчого дослідження на основі принципів доцільності й взаємодоповнення,
 що дало змогу отримати максимально повне уявлення про репрезентацію архетипу дому в ліриці обраної персоналії. Зокрема для потрактування поезії митця
 мовою сучасного літературознавства використано метод герменевтики. Методологія архетипної критики застосована для аналізу особливостей відображення у літературному творі архетипів через трансформовані форми їх поетичного переосмислення, зокрема через символ, образ, сюжет. Для виокремлення
 і з’ясування їхньої суті, взаємозв’язків між окремими компонентами використано методологію структурного аналізу. Компаративний аналіз застосовано для
 порівняння особливостей функціонування архетипу дому в різних поезіях Григорія Чубая. Новизна роботи полягає в тому, що вперше зроблено спробу дослідити особливості функціонування архетипу дому в поетичній спадщині Григорія
 Чубая через такі форми його поетичної репрезентації, як символ, образ, сюжет. Висновки. Дім – це одна з універсальних категорій світового порядку для Григорія Чубая, що зберігає значення етнонаціонального архетипу українського
 народу й виступає як смисловий, просторово-енергетичний центр для людини,
 що дає їй відчуття опори й захищеності. Мистецька інтерпретація цього архетипу позначена глибокою філософічністю, зокрема пов’язана з дихотомією дому/бездомів’я, збереженням гармонії людини і світу, а водночас, із руйнуванням
 традиційного життєвого укладу, відчуттям кризи й дисгармонії. У поезії Григорія Чубая архетип дому репрезентовано через образи хати, житла чи їхніх
 окремих елементів, а також гнізда, акваріуму, які функціонують у взаємозв’язках із традиційними образами української культури. The aim of the article is to study the peculiarities of the functioning of the
 archetype of the house in the art world of Hryhorii Chubai.
 The choice of research methodology is conditioned by the intertextuality of
 Hryhorii Chubai’s works, their rootedness in the national culture and connections
 with foreign literature, as well as expressive mythologism. In the process of scientific
 research a number of methods of literary research were used on the basis of the
 principles of expediency and complementarity, which allowed to get the most complete
 idea of the representation of the archetype of the house in the lyrics of the chosen
 person. In particular, the methods of hermeneutics were used to interpret the artist's
 poetry in the language of modern literary criticism. The methodology of archetypal
 critique is used to analyze the peculiarities of the reflection of archetypes in a literary
 work through transformed forms of their poetic rethinking, in particular through the
 symbol, image, motive, plot. The methodology of structural analysis was used to
 isolate and clarify their essence and relationships between individual components.
 Comparative analysis is used to compare the features of the functioning of the
 archetype of the house in different poems of Hryhorii Chubai.
 The novelty of the work is that for the first time an attempt was made to
 investigate the peculiarities of the functioning of the archetype of the house in the
 poetic heritage of Hryhorii Chubai through such forms of his poetic representation as
 symbol, image, motif, plot.
 Conclusions. Thus, the house is a universal category of world order for Hryhorii
 Chubai, which preserves the significance of the ethno-national archetype of the
 Ukrainian people and acts as a semantic, spatial-energy center for a person, which
 gives him a sense of support and security. The artistic interpretation of this archetype
 is marked by deep philosophicalness, in particular the dichotomy of home /
 homelessness, the preservation of harmony between man and the world, and at the
 same time the destruction of traditional lifestyles, a sense of crisis and disharmony. In
 Hryhorii Chubai’s poetry, the archetype of the house is represented through images of
 a house, dwelling or their individual elements, as well as nests, an aquarium, which
 function in interrelations with traditional images of Ukrainian culture.
