В 1975 г Вышетараеовская экспедиция Института археологии НАН Украины раскопала курган 93 в 1,2 км к востоку от села Выводово Томаковского р-на Днепропетровской обл. (Чередниченко Н.Н. идр., 1975)1. Курган высотой 5 м, диаметром 60 м. Памятник содержал погребения эпохи бронзы. На его уплощенной вершине (площадка диаметром 12 м) было устроено святилище половецкого времени. Прямо по центру кургана, на расстоянии 0,3 м к югу от репера, обнаружены две статуи. Под площадкой был вырыт котлован диаметром около 7 м и глубиной около 1 м. На дне котлована найдены остатки костей животных и невыразительные фрагменты красноглиняной керамики.
In 1975 a barrow of the Bronze Age was excavated near Vyvodovo village in the Dnieper area. On its flattened top (12 m in diameter) a Polovtsian sanctuary was arranged in the Middle Ages. In the center of a platform in depth of approx. 1 m two broken statues (male and female) were found. The presence of pedestals of statues preserved in situ enables one to assume that the statues were faced to the southeast. At the bottom of a foundation ditch dug under the platform there were the remains of a funeral feast: separate bones of animals and ordinary fragments of red clay pottery. Both statues belong to a “standing with a background” type and are typical of the Black Sea and Dnieper areas. The image of a horseman on the back side of the male statue attracts a special attention in iconography of the statues. The horseman holding a fluttering flag is depicted in profile. The sanctuary near Vyvodovo village is typical enough by its characteristics and might be constructed by the Polovtsy inhabiting the Lower Dnieper reaches.
