Исследования стоянки Пушкари 1 показали, что мы имеем дело с новым и самостоятельным участком палеолитического поселения, раскопки которого были начаты еще в 30 годы. Раскопки последних лет (1981-1997) позволили вскрыть его площадь полностью и накопить документацию, необходимую для выделения археологических структур определяемых как "поселение" и "жилище". During long-term excavations of the Upper Paleolithic site of Pushkari I, a new dwelling complex was discovered. Clean-cut borders of the cultural layer and obvious connection of main objects permit the complex to be treated as a separate unit from that excavated by P.I. Boriskovski during 1937-1939. The vital activity zone (over 100 m2) includes a round dwelling, external hearth, production areas and places for debitage discard, all belonging to the same microstratigraphic layer. The main principle of site structure is contraposition of hearths and production areas, hearths and places of debitage and charcoal discard. The study carried gave a new opportunity for re-estimation of the well-known complex of Pushkari I with a three-part dwelling.
