У статті представлено та проаналізовано різні типи бібліографічних
 покажчиків, які можуть бути джерелами для нових досліджень з історії
 Півдня і Сходу України. Висвітлено багатогалузеві краєзнавчі покажчики літератури, що включають інформацію про історію губерній на українських землях кінця XVIII — початку XX ст. Розглянуто та проаналізовано краєзнавчі
 бібліографічні покажчики, присвячені місцевим дослідникам і керівникам влади,
 історії міст і сіл південного сходу України. Представлено велику групу тематичних краєзнавчих покажчиків про найважливіші події в історії України: революцію 1917–1920 рр., політику «українізації», політичні репресії, голодомори. Russian’s annexation of the Crimea and fomenting separatism in the Donetsk and
 Lugansk regions with followed by using a hybrid war caused increased public interest
 by history of south-eastern area of the Ukraine.
 In the article submitted and analyzed various types of the bibliographic indexes,
 which could be essential as a source of new researches on the history of South and
 East of Ukraine.
 First of all, a lot of attention paid to diversified pointers literature by local
 history, of which can get information about the history of the provinces and the
 situation in the Ukrainian lands in the late XVIII — early XX century.
 Second, considered bio bibliographical indices on local history devoted to local
 researchers and heads of government.
 Some historical and local history bibliographies indexes devoted towns and
 villages in Ukraine, including by the anniversaries largest and most famous cities in
 the south-eastern region of the state were analyzed.
 A large group consists of thematic geographic indexes devoted to some of the
 most important events and periods in the history of Ukraine, in particular the South
 and the East. There are few indicators among them that highlight events and the
 development of the Ukrainian revolution 1917–1920, Soviet policy of "indigenization"
 and its component — “Ukrainization”. Indexes that contain sources and literature
 about political repressions and starvation of the Soviet era, and — Ukraine's
 participation in World War II are more numerous in compare to other types of indexes
 in the article.
 Few thematic local history indexes are devoted largely Cossacks as a whole and
 Cossacks by regions.
 Among the important bibliographic sources were reviewed bibliographic
 research — A. Nepomnyastchy and T. Nazarchuk with the history, ethnography and
 local history Crimea, which generally covers the period from the end of XVIII and
 until the mid XX century.
