Zusammenfassung:Communicative and linguistic competence of contemporaries depends on the quality of their knowledge and rhetorical skills. Dictionaries of active type support increasing the level of linguistic competence, which concept is based on the principles of previously concluded dictionaries of paremias representing communication laws. Under the terms of situational communication paremia may represent communication laws, rules, principles, strategies, tactics, speech genres (SG), and describe communicative situation itself. It’s obvious that the fi rst edition of «Communicative Code of Ukrainians in Paremias’ (T. Kosmeda, T. Osipova, 2010) should be renewed, added and oriented to the principles of the dictionary of active type that will be useful for specialists, the average modern speaker and foreigners who learn the Ukrainian language.
