В левобережной степи Украины на мелких млекопитающих обнаружено 42 вида гамазид. Наиболее часто встречаются Haemolaelaps glasgowi, Eulaelaps stabularis, Laelaps algericus, L. agilis, L. pavlovskyi, Hyperlaelaps arvalis Haemogamasus nidi, Hirstionyssus musculi. Наибольше е количество видов гамазид выявлено на полевой мыши (15 видов), мыши домовой (20 видов), лесной мыши (22 вида), полевке обыкновенной (22 вида). Сравнение зараженности ряда видов мышевидных грызунов, обследованных в лесостепной и степной зонах Украины, показало, что в степной зоне зверьки заражены, как правило, меньше, чем в лесостепной. In the left-bank steppe of the Ukraine 41 species of Gamasoide a were found on small mammals. Haemolaelafs glasgowi, Eulaelafs stabularis, Laelafs algericus, G. agilis, L. pavlovkyi, Hyperlaelafs arvalis, Heamogamasus nidi, Hirsionyssus musculi are met more often. The most quantity of Gamasoide a species was found on Apodemur agrarius Pall . (15 species), Mus musculus L. (20 species), Apodemus sylvaticus L. and Microtus arvalis Pall . (22 species). Comparison of infectedness of a number of Muridae, which were investigated in the forest-steppe and steppe zone of the Ukraine showed, that in the steppe zone the animals are infected, as a rule less than in the forest-steppe zone.
