The formation of the wall of small intestine, and its topography by every five days are described. The irregularity of growth in all digestive system areas is noted. A slower growth is observed during the first 9 days of incubation when tissues are laid and formed. On the ninth day the intestine begins functionning, and after that a quick growth of all its areas is observed. The author suggests to devide the development of the intestine in embriogeny into 2 stages — prefunctional and the functional one. ru Інститут зоології ім. І.І.
