Being two weeks old they see, hear and move well, but still feed on the mother's milk. General growth and weight increase occur rather evenly in process of development. However, the tail grows considerably quicker than total length of the body and length of hind part of foot (Fig. 1, 2). At the age of two weeks the young ones reach a half size of the adult animal body.
