Digital Library of Periodicals of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine| Summary: | Natural and artificial water bodies are examined in the foothills and mountain-forest zones of the South coast of the Crimea and Eastern Crimea. Four species of the Sphaeriidae family are found: Euglesa easertana (Poli), E. personata (Malm), E. henslowana var. inappendiculata Steenberg and Musculium lacustre var. major Dupuy. M. lacustre var major Dupuy is found first for the Crimea. Some data concerning the ecology of the mentioned species are given.
