Gloluli ossei and interglobular spaces are not formed in the process of enchondral ossification in the labyrinth-as it takes place in the human osseous labyrinth. The osseous labyrinth tissue of the inner ear in lizards and snakes is of more complex structure, that in tortoises consists chiefly of cartiloginous tissue. ru Інститут зоології ім. І.І.
