The com¬plete absence of any horizontal stabilizers may be considered as an important peculiarity of the dolphins' hydrodynamic scheme. The stabilizers role in the regime of the movement stabilization is performed by thoracic and caudal fins. Greater values of relative areas of plumage and body elongation belong to species distinctions of Delphinus delphis.
