As in most cases the populations of these species and their small taxons has no food value in some countries (Sweden, Finland etc.) attempts are made to substitute Pacifastacus leniusculus (Dana) for A. astacus L. the acclimatization of which in the USSR began in 1972. ru Інститут зоології ім.
