This roe differs from more ancient represen- tatives of this genus in size and structure of horns, somewhat more progressive structure of the tooth system but is close to them by the degree of molarization of premolar teeth: they are more molar in young Pliocene representatives of the genus and especially in modern roes. ru Інститут зоології ім.
