The evolutionary d a t a of dentition in Ellobius and ancient rooted teeth Microtinaepermitted includingt h e t r i b eEllobiini into Microtinae sublamily. Ellobius tiligulensis sp. n. is described from Tiligul (Farly Taman") of the South Ukraine; it is characteristic with largeb o d ys i z e ,constant presence o fthe mimomys fold, wide confluence of the Mi enamel fields and weak dentine tracks development.
