контексті політики децентралізації, упровадженої в другій половині 2010-х рр., а також важливості забезпечення стійкості українського суспільства в умовах повномасштабної агресії РФ та
перспектив подальшої відбудови країни.
Метою статті є виявлення ролі громадського фонду як чинника поступу місцевої громади,
складових його успішності, а також стану розвитку громадських фондів в Україні. Методи дослідження: історичний, проблемно-аналітичний, описовий. Наукова новизна полягає в дослідженні
феномену та чинників успіху громадського фонду в контексті становлення таких організацій в
Украї-ні.
Висновки. Громадський фонд має визначний потенціал для поступу та лідерства в місцевій
громаді в умовах тенденції трансформації владних відносин від вертикальних до мережевих. Цьому
сприяють такі його властивості, як здатність поєднувати зусилля багатьох громадських організацій, експертів, акумулювати кошти, незалежність від державної та місцевої влади, їх бюрократичних структур. У сучасній Україні громадські фонди перебувають на початковому етапі свого
розвитку, що пояснюється тривалим попереднім періодом політичної залежності країни в умовах
комуністичного тоталітарного режиму. Водночас, в умовах значного потенціалу розвитку громадянського суспільства в нашій країні, а також партнерства з відповідними закордонними структурами, розвиток громадських фондів має суттєву перспективу в Україні та може сприяти їх перетворенню на громадські лідерські організації.
The successful steady development of society as a single unit largely depends on the success of advancement
of local communities, the development of social capital there. Civic foundations make up the prominent
factor of the local community advancement in the USA. The research of this phenomenon is very
important for Ukraine in the context of the decentralization policies, provided in the second half of the
2010s, and also the importance of providing of the Ukrainian societyʼs firmness during the large-scale
Russian aggression and prospects of further renewal of our country.
The purpose of the article is to identify the role of a civic foundation as a factor in the development of
the local community, the factors of its success, as well as the state of development of civic funds in Ukraine.
Research methods: historical, problem-analytical, descriptive. The scientific novelty lays down in the
research the civic fund phenomenon in the context of the formation of such organisations in Ukraine.
Conclusions. Civic foundation has a prominent potential for advancement and leadership in a local
community in conditions of tendency of the transformation of imperious relations from vertical to the
network. It is assisted by such its properties, as the ability to combine efforts of many public organizations
and experts, accumulate money, its independence from the state and local power and their bureaucratic
structures. In modern Ukraine civic foundations are on the initial stage of their development because of the
protracted previous period of the political dependence of the country in conditions of the totalitarian
regime. At the same time, in conditions of considerable potential of development of the civil society in our
country, and also partnerships with the corresponding foreign structures the development of civic foundations
has a substantial prospect in Ukraine and can assist their transformation into public leaders.
