Мета статті – проаналізувати на матеріалах біографії актриси Любові Ліницької (1865–1924) в контексті історії українського «театру корифеїв» особливості святкування 25-річного
 ювілею її творчої діяльності (1913 р.), з’ясувати, як реагувала україномовна преса і ширше – театральна громадськість – на цю подію, як увіковічився ювілей у посвятах і біографічних нарисах, які
 трансформації й відлуння мала ця подія в пам’яті мемуаристів, що намагалися відтворити для нащадків неповторний мистецький образ героїні. Основними методами дослідження послугували історико-біографічний та дискурсивний. Новизна роботи полягає в тому, що систематизовано і в
 порівняльному аспекті висвітлено наявну в джерелах інформацію щодо відзначення творчого ювілею Л. Ліницької, акцентовано, що театр як явище національної культури посідає особливе місце
 на різних етапах модернізації суспільства, українського зокрема; окреслено роль і місце ювілеїв у
 житті театральної спільноти й української громадськості; доведено, що такі символічні події дають новий імпульс процесам націотворення; концептуальне пояснення «культурного коду» подібного роду явищ міститься в працях теоретиків націй та націоналізму (Е. Сміт). Висновки: аналіз
 джерел свідчить про те, що Л. Ліницька була яскравою представницею другого покоління актрис
 «театру корифеїв», із неповторним стилем і мистецьким арсеналом для створення сценічних образів; стосовно висвітлення в пресі ювілейної події 1913 р., найбільш змістовними текстами є публікації С. Єфремова в газеті «Рада» і М. Вороного в журналі «Світло», мемуарні замальовки Л. Лукасевича й В. Василька, історико-біографічна студія Ю. Меженка. The purpose of the article is to analyse, based on the biography of actress Liubov Linytska (1865–
 1924), peculiarities of celebrating the 25th anniversary of her creative activity (1913) in the context of the
 history of the Ukrainian «theatre of luminaries»), to find out how the Ukrainian-language press and the wider
 theatre community reacted to this event, how the anniversary was immortalised in dedications and biographical
 sketches, and what transformations and echoes this event had in the memory of memoirists who
 tried to recreate the unique artistic image of the heroine for posterity. The main research methods used
 were historical biographical and discursive methods. The novelty of the work is as follows: the information
 available in the sources on the celebration of L. Linitskaʼs creative anniversary is systematised and presented
 in a comparative aspect; it is emphasised that theatre as a phenomenon of national culture occupies
 a special place at different stages of modernisation of society, Ukrainian in particular; the role and place
 of anniversaries in the life of the theatre community and the Ukrainian public is outlined; it is proved that
 such symbolic events give a new impetus to the processes of nation-building, and; the conceptual explanation
 of the «cultural code» of such phenomena is contained in the works of theorists of nations and nationalism
 (E. Smith). Conclusions: the analysis of sources shows that L. Linytska was a bright representative
 of the second generation of actresses of the «theater of coryphaei», with a unique style and artistic arsenal
 for creating stage images; for the press coverage of the 1913 anniversary event, the most informative texts
 are publications by S. Yefremov in the newspaper «Rada» and M. Voronyi in the magazine «Svitlo», memoir
 sketches by L. Lukasevych and V. Vasylko, and historical and biographical study by Y. Mezhenko.
