Being focused on concept of regional culture, the author proves, that for better its understanding we should consider it as a result of assimilation process of elements introduced by two main countries — by Italy and France. Fast modernization of the agriculture, the tourism, immigration, wide attraction of money in sphere of social connections have considerably changed the conditions of existence, reproduction and transfer of ancient culture, which has arisen within the framework of a village community. However, the village community today remains, mainly, illusive reference point.
