Authors
Paládi-Kovács Attila – an
academician, a Doctor of Ethno-
graphy, a professor, a research fel-
low at the Institute of Ethnographic
Studies (Centre for the Humanities,
Hungarian Academy of Sciences).
Scientific interests: agriculture ad-
ministration, livestock keeping, viti-
culture; ethnical and national com-
munities; industrial workpeople,
migrations and settling of the Ukrai-
nians-Rusyns in Hungary.
Borysenko Myroslav – a Doc-
tor of History, a professor at the
Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National
University. Scientific interests: ur-
ban culture; housekeeping history;
history of ethnology.
Vorobiey Olha – a third-year
postgraduate specializing in Ethno
logy. Scientific interests: Podillia’s
tangible culture, traditional attire in
particular; transformation of dress-
ing culture.
Holovko Oleksandr – a third-
year postgraduate specializing in
Ethnology. Scientific interests: in-
tercultural interplays; tangible and
intangible cultures of the Ukrainian-
Moldovan borderland.
Korus Olena – a first-year
postgraduate specializing in Deco
rative and Applied Arts. Scientific
interests: XXth-century Ukrainian
light porcelain plastic art; ancient
Ukrainian and Polish delft ware;
XXth-century Kyivan monumental
decorative art.
Mykytenko Oksana – a Doc-
tor of Philology, a chief research
fellow at the Ukrainian NAS
M. Rylskyi IASFE Foreign Folk-
lore Stu dies Department. Scientific
interests: conventional folk culture
of the Eastern and Southern Slavs;
Ukrainian – South Slavic ethno-
cultural, folkloric and folkloristic
relations; modern transformations of
folk culture and identification issues.
Mushynka Mykola – a Doc-
tor of Philology, a professor, a fo-
reign fellow of the Ukrainian NAS,
social and public man. He has been
an initiator and founder of pub-
lishing activities at the Museum
of Ukrainian Culture (Svydnyk).
Scientific interests: Ukrainian
studies; Ukrainian folklore of Pria-
shivshchyna; postwar migratory
processes; living and activities of
West Ukrainian scholars and the
Ukrainian emigrants of interwar pe-
riod in Czechoslovakia; Ukrainian
Sixtiers.
Onufriychuk Kateryna –
a junior researcher at the Ukrainian
NAS M. Rylskyi IASFE Ukrai
nian Ethnological Centre Depart-
ment. Scientific interests: urban
population’s public mode of life and
customary and ritual culture.
Yamborko Olha – Ph.D in
Art Criticism, an associate profes-
sor at the Design and Art Theo-
ry Subdepartment of the Vasyl
Stefanyk Ciscarpathian National
University. Scientific interests:
modern and folk ornamental tex-
tile; costume history; film art.
