У артыкуле ў рамках сістэмна-функцыянальнага падыходу разглядаюцца найбольш важныя асаблівасці традыцый сямейнага выхавання беларусаў у XIX—XX ст.; праблемы выхавання і сацыялізацыі; механізмы трансмісіі культурных каштоўнасцей сям'і наступным пакаленням; аналізуецца роля працоўнай дзейнасці як важнейшай традыцыі выхавання дзяцей у беларусаў.
