Коцюбієв, Качибей чи Кочубієв? Яку назву доцільніше вживати щодо Одеси у XV – XVI ст.

В повідомленні розглянуто історію поширення в історичній літературі ХІХ – ХХ ст. версії про заснування міста Кочубіїва (Одеси) шляхтичом Б.Коцюбою-Якушинським й походження назви «Коцюбіїв», яку подекуди вживають стосовно Одеси XV – XVI ст. в літературі й в мережі інтернет. Робиться висновок про ймовірну хибність вказаної версії походження міста та недоречність вживання назви «Коцюбіїв». In the note the author examines the history of the spread in the historical literature of the XIXth-XXth centuries of the version about the founding of the city of Kochubiiv (Odesa) by the nobleman Bohdan Kotsiuba-Yakushynskyi and the origin of the name «Kotsiubiiv», which is sometimes used about Odesa of the XVth-XVIth centuries in the literature and on the Internet. The researcher makes a conclusion about the probable mistake of mentioned version of the origin of the city and about the inappropriateness of the use of the name «Kotsiubiiv».
