Стаття присвячена побутуванню в середині ХХ ст. в стінах путивльського Спасо-Преображенського собору предметів церковного начиння та оздоблень, виготовлених на волокитинській порцеляновій мануфактурі А. М. Миклашевського. Зроблено спробу вияснити, коли саме та за яких обставин волокитинські реліквії опинились у головному храмі Путивльської землі та як склалась їхня подальша доля. У науковий обіг вводяться раніше неопубліковані документи з Державного архіву Сумської області та Сумського єпархіального управління; використано матеріали з особистого архіву автора. The article is devoted to the existence in the middle of the 20 th century of church utensils and decorations made at the Volokytyne porcelain manufactory of A. M. Myklashevskyi within the walls of the Putivl Transfiguration Cathedral. An attempt has been made to clarify when exactly and under what circumstances the Volokytyne relics ended up in the main church of the Putyvl land and what their further fate was. Previously unpublished documents from the State Archives of the Sumy Region and the Sumy Diocesan Administration are introduced into scientific circulation, and materials from the author’s personal archive have been used. The high artistic value of the products of the Andriy Myklashevskyi porcelain factory has generated significant public and art-historical interest in this extraordinary and outstanding phenomenon. Already in our time, several thorough catalogs and scientific articles and studies dedicated to Volokytyne porcelain have been published. However, we consider it necessary to make here at least a cursory overview of the main dates and moments of the creation and existence of the complex of porcelain decorations and utensils of the Pokrovsk Church. Parts of the candlesticks and the icon «The Nativity of the Virgin Mary» ended up in the Transfiguration Cathedral between January 1 (the date of the inventory of church property) and August 28 (the feast of the Assumption, when the photo was taken) in 1953, when the plundered and mutilated church in Volokytyne was steadily moving towards its tragic end.
