Застосовуючи підходи соціології, політології, соціальної філософії, автор аналізує особливості впливу зовнішніх соціально-політичних чинників консолідації демократії в українському суспільстві. Автор поділяє їх на групи: перші пов'язані з поширенням ідей демократичного характеру із заходу на південь та схід європейського континенту, другі виражають
 феномен регіоналізму, а треті об'єднують ключові категорії міжнародних факторів. Умоглядно визначається також сила впливу зовнішніх чинників. In the article the features of external factors of democracy consolidation in Ukrainian society are investigated, which are
 divided in the article on such groups: the first group of factors is related to distribution of the ideas of democratic character from
 the west to the south and the east of the European continent, the second group is regionalism, and key categories of the
 international factors - nongovernmental organizations, states and intergovernmental structures - are related to the last group. It
 is proved that on the processes of democratization nongovernmental organizations have the least influence, and the most
 influence have states and intergovernmental structures.
