У статті вперше у вітчизняній історіографії подано характеристику документів канцелярії консульства Королівства Обох Сицилій в Одесі, що зберігаються в Державному архіві м. Неаполь (Італія). Автор класифікує матеріали даного дипломатичного архіву за основними тогочасними функціями консульств. У роботі аналізує джерельна цінність вказаного комплексу документів для дослідження етнічної, торгової та дипломатичної історії міст півдня України. The authors review the components and content of documents of Consulate of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies in Odesa (1815–1861), that are preserved at the State Archive of Naples. The key records are presented by consular correspondence, reports on trade and navi - gation in ports of Southern Ukraine, consuls’ private document. The consular correspondence provided insight in commercial life in Odesa, held light on the role of a general consul in providing of international trade between the Russian Empire and the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. Therefore, the diplomatic archive of the Neapolitan consulate in Odesa contains extremely valuable sources for researching the history of Italian community, diplomatic and commercial life of Southern Ukraine.
