The group of observation constituted 614 men, among them 217 navigators. The main occupational hazards included aerial and aqueous basin contamination, industrial dust, vibration, physical overloads, welding aerosols, dust, benzol and its combinations. As a result pulmonary diseases morbidity rate with was the highest. They have marked the increase of pulmonary pathology in the groups under study, namely chronic obstructive pulmonary pathology including bronchitis and asthma. The authors state that strict observance of curative standards and compliance allow to improve the patients' quality of life and to diminish the terms of temporary disability.
