The amount of traumatism among male railroaders constitutes5,8 per 100 of the workers (or 8,5% to the total), the amount of the day of disability constitute 99,7 per 100 of the workers (or 14,8% to the total) and the average length of one case is 9,9 days. Traumatism on the railway transport is one of the main reasons of primary invalidity and determines nearly 15% of all cases of stable loss of ability to work/ The majority of the persons with traumata (87,2%) began and finished their treatment in ambulances and policlinics. This points to the leading role of these health care institutions both in the organization of medical aid at traumata and in its prophylaxis.

Åãî âûñîêàÿ ðàñïðîñòðà- íåííîñòü ñðåäè òðóäîñïîñîáíîé ÷àñòè íà- ñåëåíèÿ ïðèâîäèò ê áîëüøèì ñîöèàëüíûì è ýêîíîìè÷åñêèì ïîòåðÿì. Ñðåäè ïîñòðàäàâøèõ ïðè íàåçäàõ áûëè ðàáîòíèêè æåëåçíîäîðîæíîãî òðàíñïîðòà (1,5 % îò îáùåãî ÷èñëà), ïðè÷åì 1/3 èç íèõ ïîãèáëà, à îñòàëüíûå ïîëó÷èëè òðàâìû è óâå- ÷üÿ. Ïî ÷èñëó ñëó÷àåâ òðàâìàòèçì ñîñòàâëÿ- åò ñðåäè æåëåçíîäîðîæíèêîâ-ìóæ÷èí 5,8 íà 100 ðàáîòàþùèõ (èëè 8,5 % ê èòîãó), ïî ÷èñëó äíåé íåòðóäîñïîñîáíîñòè-99,7íà 100 ðàáî- òàþùèõ (èëè 14,8 % ê èòîãó), ïðè ýòîì ñðåä- íÿÿ äëèòåëüíîñòü 1 ñëó÷àÿ ðàâíà 9,9 êàëåí- äàðíûõ äíåé. Áîëüøèíñòâî áîëüíûõ ñ òðàâìàìè (87,2 %) íà÷èíàëè è çàêàí÷èâàëè ëå÷åíèå â àìáó- ëàòîðíî-ïîëèêëèíè÷åñêèõ ó÷ðåæäåíèÿõ, ÷òî óêàçûâàåò íà âåäóùóþ ðîëü ýòèõ ó÷ðåæäåíèé çäðàâîîõðàíåíèÿ êàê â îðãàíèçàöèè òðàâìà- òîëîãè÷åñêîé ïîìîùè, òàê è â ïðîôèëàêòè- ÷åñêîé ðàáîòå.
