Изучены морфологические особенности панциря Stephanodicsus inconspicuus Makarova et Pomazkina emend. Genkal, Kuzmina et Popovskaya (Bacillariophyta). Выявлена значительная их изменчивость, что позволило расширить диагноз вида и свести к нему в синонимику Crateriportula inconspicuus (Makarova et Pomazkina) Flower et Håkansson. The study of morphological features of the frustule of Stephanodiscus inconspicuus Makarova et Pomazkina emend. Genkal, Kuzmina et Popovskaya (Bacillariophyta) revealed significant variability in the species and has linked them synonymously to Crateriportula inconspicuus (Makarova et Pomazkina) Flower et Håkansson.
