Описан Vladolinia dolini Kameneva, gen. et sp. n. из Коста-Рики, который внешне напоминает виды рода Zacompsia Coquillett продолговатой формой головы и телa, а также сходным рисунком крыла, отличаясь от них шириной анальной лопасти крыла, горизонтально-овальной формой глаза, наличием острого угла между лицом и лбом, выступающим наличником и конусообразным, вертикально удлиненным щитком.
