В статье исследуется вклад украинского историка М. Кордубы в разработку важнейших проблем источниковедения. Анализируется предложенная им классификация источников, а также способы и методики определения степени их достоверности. Myron Korduba, the famous specialist in the medieval history, was one of the first of Ukrainian researchers, who were interested in the problems of theoretical history. As a result of his work it was an educational supply named “The Methodology of History”. The main attention in this supply is paid to the source studies and the auxiliary historical disciplines; at the same time its author gives a general review of the literature which is touching these problems. The work of M. Korduba is the first in the Ukrainian historiography special publication in methodology and methods of historical research.
