Four new species of the genus Agrypnus Eschscholtz, 1829 are described and illustrated in this paper: A. gilberti Dolin & Girard, sp. n., A. gibberiphorus Dolin & Girard, sp. n., A. claudinae Do-lin & Girard, sp. n., A. latissimus Dolin & Girard, sp. n., differing by uncommon body shape and ves-titure from other species of this genus in the fauna of Madagascar.
