For a long time the Albigensian wars were known only from archives of inquisition and the authors approached to it. «La Chanson de la Croisade Albigeoise» allows to look at this campaign from the view of cathares. The value of this literary monument consists not only in the almost chronologically exact statement of events, but also in the skill of troubadours to show historical events, important for their country in the perfect poetic form. uk Інститут літератури ім.
