The issue of woman’s place in post-colonial space is analyzed in the article. The basis of the study is the novel by O. Zabuzhko «Researching Ukrainian Sex», in which the writer combines feminist and post-colonial discourses. It becomes obvious that according to Elaine Showalter’s classification Ukrainian Women Literature is actually in woman stage: the self-awareness stage.
