Religions in Ukraine are represented in the contemporary regional context with an emphasis on dynamic formation of new self-identifications of religious actors and of new identities, either combined with ethnicity or not. Correlation and interdependence of religious identifications with social, cultural, historical and economic background of regional and local communities are analyzed.
