component condensation, we have found that diarylidenecyclopentanones are buy-products in
the synthesis of dicyclopentapyridines, and the intermediate products are their imines. On
the basis of the results of chromatomassspectrometry analysis of the reactionary mixture, the
method of synthesis of hexahydrobicyclopenta[b,e]pyridines is improved, and the mechanism of
three-component condensation is described.
