Besides, a great epistolary heritage is kept in the archive. Porfyriy Martynovych's correspondence includes letters from outstanding people of his time (V. Antonovych, M. Lysenko, D. Yavornytsky, etc.). The letters from M. and K. Grushevsky are of special interest as touching upon the topic of folk singers (kobzari and lirnyky). The following letters and some remarks on them are included in the article.
