Digital Library of Periodicals of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine| Zusammenfassung: | In this article the author describes the particularities of the Crimean Tatar folk lyrical songs and folklore in general and describes special interest which Ukrainian cultural activists (such as Lesya Ukrainka, Klimentiy Kvitka) payed to this folklore. Special part of the article is devoted to the A. Olesnytsky’s anthology, which includes the songs collected by him in the Crimean South. The author of the article also gives a description of the most typical plots and motifs of Crimean Tatar lyrics, describes main characters, language particularities, themes and topics of the love songs.
