The article is based mostly on the materials of the field investigations performed by the author in 2006–2008 in 8 Ukrainian villages of Suchava district Romania.
În articol sunt analizate procesele de împrumut şi schimb reciproc între ucrainenii şi românii din Bucovina (părţii de sud a Bucovinei istorice) în baza obiceiurilor dramatice de iarnă (Malanca, Irodul şi a.), inclusiv obiceiurilor colindatului, semănatului, umblării cu steaua, pluguşorul etc. În special este cercatată componenţa participanţilor la obiceiurile dramatice, funcţiile lor, simbolica, etapele desfăşurării. Articolul se bazează în special pe materialele etnografice de teren, realizate de către autor în anii 2006-2008 în 8 sate ucrainene din judeţul Suceava România.
