Запропоновано метод «стиснення критичного шляху», заснований на використанні нелінійного зв'язку «вартість-тривалість робіт» замість застосовуваної лінійної залежності «вартість-тривалість робіт», що є технічно неможливим. Особливо це стосується інвестиційних проектів вугледобувних підприємств.
 Ключові слова: інвестиційний проект, лінійна залежність, вугільна шахта. Предложен метод «сжатия критического пути», основанный на использовании нелинейной связи «стоимость-продолжительность работ» взамен применяемой линейной зависимости «стоимость-продолжительность работ», что является технически невозможным. Особенно это касается инвестиционных проектов угледобывающих предприятий.
 Ключевые слова: инвестиционный проект, линейная зависимость, угольная шахта. Reproduction of capacity of coal mining enterprises is achieved through continuous maintaining of working faces. Face preparation is to be performed within strictly specified deadline. This requires monitoring of investment projects with a specified deadline while minimizing additional costs.
 The purpose of the study is to present the version of the proposed method of investment project supporting of a coal mining enterprise of given duration.
 The subject of the research is investment projects of coal mines.
 The foreign literature concerning adjusting the duration of the implementation of investment projects with a specified date recommends the method of "compression of the critical path" based on the use of linear dependence of the "value-duration" of works. However, in practice, as a rule, the dependence of the works "value-duration" is nonlinear.
 The article put forward a method of "compression of the duration of the critical path" of network model of a project based on the use of nonlinear dependence of the cost of mining on the speed of its implementation. First and foremost, this is targeted at the projects of coal mines, where reduction of the critical path duration is carried out by increasing the speed of the workings by increasing the number of tunneling crew. The proposed methodological approach can be implemented for an investment project with given implementation period.
