Вплив полігексаметиленгуанідину на електрохімічну та корозійну поведінку заліза в сірчанокислих електролітах

Description
Summary:The addition of polyhexamethyleneguanidine to acid sulfate electrolytes leads to a decrease of the iron (steel) corrosive destruction rate. It is due to the barrier layer formation on the iron electrode surface. Such a layer consists of slightly soluble products of the interaction of polyhexamethyleneguanidine with iron cations. Metal cations are formed the near electrode/electrolyte interface as a result of the corrosion process. A basis for this thesis is that, in many cases, the formation of protective layers is connected with the interaction of organic inhibitors with cations which are obtained from the metal dissolution. In accordance with such a supposition at the choice of organic inhibitors, it is necessary to take the stability constant of metallorganic compounds (complexes) and their solubility in the test medium into account.
