Digital Library of Periodicals of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine| Summary: | A single-bud explant was excised from a shoot of the grape of interspecific origin Riesling Magaracha (Riesling x Seyve Villard 12309) and germinated on agarized Murashige - Skoog medium supplemented with 6-benzyl aminopurine and α-naphthalene acetic acid. Following the sixth subculture, one of the plants developed was “pruned” to three axillary buds without removing its root system. The pruning treatment seemed to benefit the flowering and the subsequent fruiting as the plant bore a single berry containing four seeds.
