Історія геологічного і геодинамічного розвитку Зовнішньої зони Передкарпатського прогину відобразилася на особливостях будови її окремих ділянок та умовах формування родовищ нафти та газу. Розташування живильних розломів і характер їхнього контакту з проникними горизонтами, якими відбувалася латеральна 
 міграція газу в припідняті структури, наявність пасток та інші чинники вплинули 
 на нерівномірний розподіл запасів газу в Зовнішній зоні. Виділено і проаналізовано 
 11 ділянок. Найсприятливішими умовами формування родовищ характеризується 
 Більче-Волицько-Опарська, тому й концентрація запасів газу тут найвища. The geological and geodynamic history of the development of the Outer zone of the 
 Carpathian Foredeep is reflected in the peculiarities of its single areas’ construction and 
 conditions of the formation of oil and gas fields.
 Uneven distribution of gas reserves in the Outer zone is a result of diverse factors, 
 among their number are stretching of the nourishing faults and the horizons with the 
 covered structures of good collector quality, character of contact with permeable horizons, 
 through which lateral migration took place in elevated structures, the presence of traps 
 and others.
 In addition to the existing schemes of division of the Outer zone, it is substantiated its 
 division in smaller units – areas with their certain peculiarities of construction. In general, 
 11 areas were distinguished and analized.
 The Bilche Volytsya-Opary area is characterized by the most favourable conditions 
 of fields formation and the highest concentration of gas reserves.
