Запропоновано деякі заходи щодо оптимізації процесу формування правосвідомості молоді в Україні, зокрема, обґрунтовано доцільність прийняття «Державної програми формування правосвідомості та правової культури молоді». В статье рассмотрено понятие и специфические черты правосознания молодежи как системообразующего фактора правового демократического государства. Охарактеризовано современное состояние правосознания молодежи. Проанализированы деформации, присущие именно молодому поколению. Предложены возможные пути оптимизации процесса формирования правосознания молодежи в Украине, в часности, обоснована целесообразность принятия «Государственной программы формирования правосознания и правовой культуры молодежи». The Articles deals with notions and special traits of youth legal awareness as a system-generating factor of any lawful democratic state. It is proved that the legal awareness is one of the most important forms of man’s and society’s conscience along with political awareness, morals, arts, religion, science and philosophy. It is stressed that the legal awareness in young people requires special attention as it is notable for maximalistic perception of innovations and external influence, flexibility, instability and emotionality as against other age groups. The goal of the Article is to open the sense of youth legal awareness notion, stress its special characteristics, prove that the sense of justice is a system-generating factor of a lawful democratic state and suggest some optimisation methods of the Ukrainian young people sense of law and order formation process. The legal awareness of young people is suggested to be determined as a scope of legal views expressing the attitude of 14-35-year-old people to the law in force, its aim, tasks and regulation methods and means, and to appraisal of its rules justification and the idea of future legal system. This phenomenon is specifically characterised by impulsiveness, naпve idealism, conformism, urge towards justice, radical perception of innovations and external influence, flexibility, instability and domination of the emotional over the rational. The present state of the young people sense of justice is characterised. And deformations typical of the young generation are analysed. It is proved that the young people legal awareness impacts the process of state formation, realisation of law and abidance to its requirements by the addressees, formation of a lawful state and establishment of civilised legal order in the country. Formation of a democratic, social and lawful state and civil society is impossible without rising of their level. Accentuated is the fact that the state of legal awareness of the young people in Ukraine requires certain corrections in the model of breeding pupils and students. The legislation regulating the legal and economic security of the young people needs to be improved. Expediency of adopting «The State Programme of Formation of the Young People Legal Awareness and Culture» is grounded in the Article. uk Інститут держави і права ім. В.М. The Articles deals with notions and special traits of youth legal awareness as a system-generating factor of any lawful democratic state. It is proved that the legal awareness is one of the most important forms of man’s and society’s conscience along with political awareness, morals, arts, religion, science and philosophy. It is stressed that the legal
awareness in young people requires special attention as it is notable for maximalistic perception of innovations and external influence, flexibility, instability and emotionality as against other age groups. methods of the Ukrainian young people sense of law and order formation process.
