Предложено 9 новых номенклатурно-таксономических комбинаций в роде Neoceratium Gomez et al. и одна − для Kryptoperidinium Lindemann. Необходимость введения новых названий обуславлена разделением Ceratium Schrank на 2 рода: Ceratium (пресноводные виды с 6 сингулярными пластинами) и Neoceratium (морские, с пятью пластинами), а также дальнейшим «расформированием» рода Glenodinium Ehrenb. (его существование из-за нечетких таксономических признаков сомнительнo). Nine new nomenclature and taxonomic combinations are proposed in the genus Neoceratium Gomez et al., and one − in the genus Kryptoperidinium Lindemann. Necessity of introducing new combinations is caused by division of the genus Ceratium Schrank into 2 genera: Ceratium (freshwater species with 6 singular plates) and Neoceratium (marine species with five plates), and also further "disbanding" of the genus Glenodinium Ehrenb. (its existence is questionable because of the fuzzy taxonomic features).
